Our Story

Date & Blooms began in 2023 with a bucket of marigolds and a borrowed trestle table. We were struck by the ornamental gardens of old — the courtyards, the geometry, the generosity of them — and wanted bouquets that carried that language: gathered, not arranged.

Every stem is bought fresh each morning and hand-tied in our Melbourne studio. No floral foam, no filler for filler’s sake — just the season’s best, wrapped and delivered the same day.

Along the way came the Bloom Bar — our build-your-own bouquet stand that travels to hens, birthdays and office parties — and The Standing Garden, a monthly arrangement service for receptions and foyers across the city.
